One of the primary advantages of flying XOJET (and flying smart) is the complete control our clients have over aircraft selection. Unlike fractional owners who are locked into one class of aircraft, you as an XOJET client can choose between dozens of modern jets through out Preferred Partner Network—including turboprop, light, mid-size, super mid-size, and heavy jets—specifically tailored to the distance, speed, cabin, and storage space required for your trip.
To help you decide which aircraft is best suited for your missions in 2017, here is our high-level guide to select options available within XOJET’s owned and extended fleet. Welcome aboard.

King Air 350
Range: 2,077 miles
High Cruise Speed: 360 mph
Takeoff Distance: 3,300 feet
Landing Distance: 2,692 feet
Rate of Climb: 2,731 ft/min
Max Operating Altitude: 35,000 feet
Cabin Volume: 416 cubic feet
Cargo Volume: 71 cubic feet
Cabin Highlights: With available seating up to 11, the King Air 350 sets the class standard for comfortable cabins—featuring luxurious seating, noise-dampening ride technology, and luminous natural lighting thanks to large, rounded windows. It’s the cabin you’d expect from a jet aircraft.
What You Need to Know: Though still a turboprop aircraft, the larger King Air 350 is more comparable to light jets than the PC-12. Positioned as such, the 350 offers style, comfort, and small-jet versatility for an operational cost vastly lower than its competitors. A proven classic since its first model in 1974, we recommend it as a more fuel-efficient, economical option for both business commuters and leisure travelers flying short-to-mid-range distances—and those who want a faster, more luxurious aircraft than the PC-12.

Besides comfort, convenience, and cutting-edge efficiency, flying private opens the gates to a multitude of hard-to-reach destinations.
Below is the crème de la crème of those destinations—not just difficult to reach, but quite literally impossible when flying directly on anything but a private jet or charter. Meaning, if you’re looking for a luxurious destination for your next vacation with XOJET, look no further.

Today, we are embarking on a private-commercial partnership that breaks new ground for ultra-high-net-worth flyers traveling internationally from leading private jet brand to leading international airline, Etihad Airways.
Every year at the beginning of December, a new swarm of fashionable jetsetters descends on the city of Miami. We’re not just talking of sun-starved beachgoers fleeing winter for South Beach, but instead the thousands of art world insiders, collectors, and artists who flock to Miami for Art Basel, one of the most important art fairs of the year.
Art Basel is always quite the feast for the eyes, and the art isn’t half-bad either. However, just as entertaining—and inspiring—as the masterpieces on the wall, are those walking about the fair and sipping Champagne at the after-parties. So now the challenge, if you’re flying XOJET in the direction of Miami Beach, is what to wear?
While you’ll certainly want to blend in with those well-dressed hordes, you’ll also want to stay relatively comfortable. We spoke with three Basel-bound style experts, including artist Jenna Pietrobon, stylist Ian Bradley, and gallerist Leila Greiche, for tips on how to pull off the ultimate Basel look.
What to Wear…for the Preview Day

In honor of the 2013 Women in Aviation Conference, the XOJET Blog has been running a series of profiles of some of the great women who work at XOJET. We recently spoke with Nora Jacobsen, who stopped by XOJET’s booth at the 2012 conference and ended up joining us in July 2012—a month after retiring from a 20-year career as a U.S. Navy pilot. She’s now a co-pilot on the XOJET Challenger 300 super-mid-size jet.

As is the case with most innovations, it was the desire to make life easier that inspired former XOJET captain Joe Dickinson to create one of the most comprehensive aviation iPad/iPhone applications on the market: the Aviation Pilot Duty & Performance Calculator.
Commercial pilots must follow strict guidelines for determining—down to the minute—whether reached the on-duty flight time allowed by FAA regulations.
“We fly a lot and we often have 14-hour work days,” said Dickinson. “It can feel hard to muster the brainpower to do calculations when you’re hungry and tired.”
Aviation was a theme in Brad Stewart’s life even before he was born: His parents met on a charter jet flight—he was a professional hockey player, she was a flight attendant. When Stewart’s father retired from hockey, the family settled first in Cleveland—where Stewart was born on the U.S. bicentennial, July 4, 1976—and then in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, where Stewart grew up. He took his first flying lessons at the age of 19 and has been an aviation enthusiast ever since.

As we move into the holiday season—which is also XOJET’s season of highest demand—we thought it would be useful to re-post this article from February. So, here again are our top tips for getting the XOJET flight you want during peak times.
Holidays are a great time to get away. But they’re also when we see the heaviest demand for private jet charter. That’s why XOJET and most other private aviation providers consider the days before and after a holiday or a major event (such as the Super Bowl) as “peak…
