XOJET Business Growth Fuels Investments in Industry-Leading Talent

2017 has continued to prove heightened success for XOJET as business growth fuels investments in industry-leading safety, training, and flight standards programs.

As the leader in on-demand private jet travel, XOJET continues to raise the bar by recruiting top-tier talent to join the team, such as the recent appointment of a respected safety industry veteran, Daniel Ramirez, who joined the team as XOJET’s new Director of Safety. Dan has an extensive background having held multiple roles at Embraer, as former manager of flight safety at Embraer Executive Jets, North American Operational Safety Officer for Embraer Commercial Jets, Corporate Air Safety Officer for Defense and Security, and former Naval Flight Officer specializing as an Air Safety Officer for the United States Navy Reserve.

Adding to the accolades, XOJET recently celebrated the achievement as the first Part 135 operator to execute a Line Operations Safety Assessment (LOSA) – a seven month assessment in which specially-trained XOJET pilots observed 132 flights in order to reinforce flight standards and training. “We continue to invest in the areas that matter to our clients,” said Austin Schell, President of XOJET Fleet Operations. “The latest investments in safety expertise and capabilities, including the industry-first LOSA milestone, reflect that commitment.”

To further build out XOJET’s Flight Standards Department, which launched in tandem with LOSA, the company appointed John Nyradi as Director of Flight Standards to lead to the department. John held previous roles at XOJET ranging from Flight Safety Officer to Citation X Captain, and joined with team as a former United Airlines Captain and United Sates Air Force Officer. As the Director of Flight Standards, John is responsible for the safety and efficiency of XOJET aircraft operations through the implementation of policies, processes and procedures that standardize flight crew operations.

“We find that our  pilots appreciate the ability to participate in advanced training, and they want to be part of an enterprise that adheres to high standards,” noted Schell. The combination of LOSA and the company’s expanded training capabilities together act as a quality assurance feedback loop, further bolstering XOJET’s capabilities as the premier, on-demand private aviation solutions platform.
